Embri Nails respects the privacy and safety of our customers, families, and young nail lovers. This policy explains how we collect, use, protect, retain, and share information when someone visits our website, contacts us, or places an order.

Parent or Guardian Purchases Required

Embri Nails products may be suitable for customers ages 10 and older, but our website, checkout, customer accounts, custom-order forms, and photo-upload features are intended for adults.

Customers must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal adulthood where they live, to place an order or submit personal information.

A parent or legal guardian must place and manage orders for anyone under 18. Children under 13 must not provide their name, address, email address, phone number, photographs, payment information, measurements, social-media information, or any other personal information through our website.

If we discover that personal information was submitted directly by a child under 13 without appropriate parental authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it and restrict further collection.

Information We Collect

We may collect information necessary to operate our store and fulfill orders, including:

• The adult purchaser’s name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number
• Product selections, nail shape, length, and size
• Order, delivery, return, refund, and customer-service information
• Payment and transaction information processed securely by Shopify and its payment providers

Custom Nail Order Uploads

Custom-order inspiration uploads must be submitted by an adult.

Only upload images showing the requested nail colors, artwork, patterns, or design inspiration. Do not upload:

• A child’s face or body
• Photographs that identify a child or another person
• Names, addresses, schools, uniforms, identification documents, or location details
• Medical or other sensitive personal information
• Images the purchaser does not have permission to use

Uploaded inspiration images will be used only to review, create, document, and fulfill the custom order. Embri Nails will not post, advertise, sell, or publicly share a customer’s uploaded image without separate written permission from the adult who submitted it.

We will retain access to an inspiration image only for as long as reasonably necessary to complete the order, provide customer service, handle a dispute, or meet a legal requirement. When it is no longer needed, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or restrict access to it, including requesting deletion from service providers where that option is available.

How We Use Information

We may use collected information to:

• Process payments and fulfill orders
• Create custom nail sets
• Provide order updates and customer support
• Arrange shipping, returns, replacements, or refunds
• Detect fraud, misuse, or security threats
• Maintain required financial and business records
• Improve our store and shopping experience
• Send marketing communications when the adult customer has chosen to receive them
• Meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations

We do not knowingly sell a child’s personal information.

No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Customers should not send passwords, government identification numbers, medical information, or unnecessary sensitive information through email, social media, or order notes.

Data Retention

We retain order and transaction records for the period reasonably necessary for fulfillment, taxes, accounting, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.

Marketing information may be retained until the adult customer unsubscribes or requests deletion. Custom-order inspiration files will be retained only as described in the Custom Nail Order Uploads section.

Information believed to have been submitted directly by a child under 13 without authorization will be deleted as promptly as reasonably possible.

Parent and Customer Requests

Subject to applicable law, an adult customer or a child’s verified parent or legal guardian may request that Embri Nails:

• Provide information about the personal information we maintain
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete eligible information
• Stop certain uses of information
• Stop marketing communications
• Review or delete information believed to have been submitted by a child

We may need to verify the requester’s identity and authority before providing access to or deleting information.

Social Media and Communications

Embri Nails does not ask children to send private messages containing personal information.

Parents and guardians should supervise social-media interactions involving minors. Customers must not send school information, home addresses, real-time locations, passwords, private photographs, or other sensitive information through comments or direct messages.

Embri Nails will not intentionally publish a minor’s full name, school, address, personal contact information, or real-time location.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our business practices, services, or legal responsibilities change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
